As an agency that specializes in raising “Social Capital” it felt like we were the perfect fit to orchestrate a marketing campaign for a politician. This was a very time sensitive scope of work with absolutely every team member contributing. We had about a month to build a brand, create marketing / educational collateral, produce video content, and launch a website in order to announce Charles’ candidacy for Colorado State Treasurer. This was phase 1, phase 2 encompassed continual promotion of his campaign as well as extensive SEO and PR services.
Designing a logo for a politician can be a tricky formula to get right. While Charles wanted to stand out and enable his identity to be recognizable he wanted to avoid being too loud and eccentric to maintain a professional look.
We knew from the conceptual phases that we wanted to utilized the Q in “Quin” as a stand alone emblem that can also be integrated into the full type-driven logo design.
Next it was time to carry the brand across the various collateral pieces needed within a campaign. Echoing the distinct shape of the lettermark was something we wanted to play a role in giving all of the components a cohesive look and feel. Along with the subtle use of bold imagery and the vibrant color scheme throughout the collateral, we collectively felt we had achieved creating something not only functional but memorable.
A strong political campaign warrants a powerful website that can carry out all of the functional assets such as donations, volunteer forms, inquiries, and a deep library of resources and insights.
Our production team aimed to emphasize what set Charles apart from the over-saturated pool of candidates. Curabitur id posuere arcu.
